I just found out today that this photo I shot a month ago has appeared on the front page of the Scot Careers section of today's Sunday Mail.

Sadie's been nominated for the prestigious O2 X Female Entrepreneur of the Year award. Dollyleo (and Sadie) are great friends of dnanderson.co.uk and I wish her and the business the very best of luck for the award.

Way to go Sadie!

Last Wednesday I undertook a commission for DollyLeo Apothecary, shooting some of their product line for an upcoming feature in I-on magazine.

The shoot was to have a "Christmassy" feel but we resisted the obvious baubles and tinsel look as the feature was due to appear in the November issue of the magazine and Sadie Sloss, founder of DollyLeo and I felt that a more timeless approach was more pertinent.

On Wednesday I documented the relaunch of Becca cosmetics at DollyLeo, an Edinburgh, independent cosmetics apothecary.

During the event there was make-up demonstrations, champagne and canapés as well as advice on the products from professional make up artists.

DollyLeo has recently been nominated for a Scottish Style Award in the "Most Stylish Boutique" category and it wasn't difficult to see why. The clean lines and careful design of the interiors really lend themselves well to the ambiance and ideology of the boutique.
